Rob Bell just has a magnificent way of putting things into perspective. As we watched "Rain" this past Saturday, Rob mentioned our Father's perspective about the storms that come into our lives. Typically, His perspective is very different than our natural perspective. In life's storms, we find ourselves asking "why, God, if You are so loving and care for me so much would You allow me to go through this particular situation or problem?" However, the storms are often when our Father has the opportunity to hold us closer than ever before and whisper into our ears "I love you.

This past Saturday we continued a bit with the parable of the talents found in Matt. 25. We noticed how the first two invested or sowed the funds the master had given them and in turn doubled what they originally were given. We also noticed that, according to the text, it is HIGHLY probable that the first two actually got to keep all the funds given and gained.  This started to remind me of a passage in Galatians 6 where Paul says that a man reaps what he sows.

Annual YFC all night skating party. Held at Olympic Skating Center in Enola from 11pm Thanksgiving night until 7am the following morning. PLEASE NOTE: Lock-in event- students under 18 will not be permitted to leave the premises prior to conclusion of event. This event is for students up to the 12th grade.
